Students will expand on their ASL knowledge!
I love American Sign Language and I enjoy teaching this beautiful language. I have taken 4 years of formal ASL classes. I have also taught middle school ASL in a traditional classroom setting. I have also been teaching on Outschool over a year and have taught over 500 learners! I also enjoy signing songs in ASL for different events. This class will be fun and low key, but students will learn many new signs in a short time.
No homework will be assigned in this class. Students will have the option to create the student story presentation.
A handout will be provided before each class. Students may want a pen or pencil near by for notes.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No formal assessment will be given for this class. Students will have the option, if they choose, to create a story in ASL and share with the class.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
This class is appropriate for all ages!
No other sources will be needed for this class.
