In this class children will generate unique Process Art Paintings for fall. They will be given detailed instructions of various painting techniques to utilize. Children will get a little messy and celebrate the beauty of the fall season.

US Grade Kindergarten - 6
Children will be directed to create one of a kind fall tree paintings using methods that might be new to them. In this version of the class they will use fall colored paints, pom poms, and aluminum foil in unconventional ways. They will be encouraged to explore the methods and techniques shown through trial and error. Children will gain skills which foster critical thinking and problem solving. Pictures and videos will be provided to help guide children with their paintings. Clear examples will be given. A complete supply list is listed. Children will be inspired to make their paintings one of a kind. Their self-expression and creativity will shine! There are two different versions of this class using different methods. Please consider signing your child up for Version 1 as well. The classes can be taken in any order. They will also be offered as a two session class.

Children will generate unique Process Art paintings for fall and the Thanksgiving season. They will experiment with various techniques to create their own beautiful one of a kind trees. Children will gain skills which foster critical thinking and problem solving. They will be encouraged to explore the methods and techniques shown through trial and error.
There are two versions of this class using different materials. Consider signing your child up for Version 1 using other techniques.

Learning Needs
This class is for everyone. Age or ability does not matter. For those who do not like to get messy they will not have to directly touch paint. This is a great hands-on experience. Sensory skills will be increased.
Parental Guidance
Some may need assistance pouring paint, with cutting, and preparing for the projects.
Pre-Requisites
A love for experimenting, painting, and creating.
Supply List
2 attached tree pictures (Visual examples. Use these to imagine what trunks and branches look like before you paint your two trees.) at least two sheets of one of the following: canvas panel, watercolor paper, canvas paper, mixed media paper scrap paper red, orange, yellow, green, brown acrylic or tempera paint (these colors are suggested, children may opt for other colors if they would like) paper towels paper plate/cardboard/paint tray paintbrush small stick (see attached picture for an example) 4 pom poms/cotton balls (1 inch pom poms will work best, but other sizes are okay) 4 clothespins 1 sheet of aluminum foil
