New Spring Tulip Fields Landscape Painting~ Acrylic Painting~Weekends Available

Welcome to Mrs. D's Art Room where it is always a good day when you are learning something new. 

This summer tulip painting is my original artwork I painted from a photo taken when we visited the place. I wanted to share my expertise with young passionate artists to experience the same awesome expression I experienced while painting the artwork with them.

First 10, 15 min. ~ We will learn how to just roughly decide the spacing for the sky, field, and Tulips from smaller to larger ones using easy steps understanding proportion, perspective, and some basic rules of landscape painting.

Next whole hour ~ We will spend learning acrylic painting techniques including coloring of the sky, trees, bushes, and flowers. We will learn various things while painting like 
1. Basic Introduction about Perspective and using it in our painting to show distance and depth
2. blending and layering techniques with paints
3. Painting tulips using three-strokes
4. Fan brush techniques and 
5. Fun facts about Tulips 
many more fun things like composition, color harmony using acrylic paints!

I will focus on how to hold your brushes and how to use proper pressure while applying them. We will mostly use fan and round brushes while painting.

I will use a dual-screen so that kids can see me drawing with them throughout the whole class.

If learners are familiar with using canvas they are welcome to use canvas for this painting. I will use multimedia  paper for this demo project.

The young artist will be encouraged to make their artwork unique and complete their art independently if they are not finished in class. I pace our class based on the student’s abilities, so we will go slower or faster depending on how they are doing. 

No experience is needed for this class; learners will follow the directions I give.

While this class is set to 1:1 by default, I can always open up another spot if your learner would like to take it with their friend(s).  This can make class more fun for sure!  Simply contact me for details if this interests you.
