US Grade 3 - 6
In this 8-part class, learners will explore connections in nature by learning about the components of the food chain, what autotrophs and heterotrophs are, how ecosystems work, and how scavengers and decomposers deal with waste. We will follow this schedule: Week 1: Photosynthesis Week 2: How Seeds Grow and Move Week 3: Ecosystems Week 4: Food Chains Week 5: Apex Predators Week 6: Scavengers Week 7: Decomposers Week 8: Mushroom Fungus *Some of the lessons in this class are from my collection of one-time classes. Learner who have already taken one of those classes can choose to repeat the lesson or you can pause your subscription for those weeks. I follow Outschool's policies for refunds (information in the link below). That means I don't give refunds for missed classes. However, if advanced notice is given I can transfer your student to a different section. You can also pause your subscription. https://support.outschool.com/en/articles/4626920-standard-refund-policy-and-refund-eligibility-guidelines

Teacher expertise and credentials
Minnesota Teaching Certificate in English/Language Arts
Even though I love teaching ELA virtually at a public school and here on Outschool, I also love science and nature! I've done a lot of research on this topic and feel qualified to share what I've learned with interested learners.
