Description
Class Experience
Students will be introduced to the letters of the English alphabet. Each week students will learn the name of a new letter, the sounds that it makes, how to form the letter in writing as well as some vocabulary words. We will learn songs, read stories and play games surrounding the letter of the week. This class is structured with a "circle time" approach. Students will be introduced to and become familiar with the names, appearance and various sounds of each letter of the alphabet. They will obtain a basic vocabulary word base to use when describing things and creating sentences.
2 hours 5 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
