Each class students will be challenged to use mathematic skills and engineering skills to accomplish a paper engineering challenge. Class will begin with a student connection question and the challenge presented. Next, the teacher will review the Engineering Design process used by engineers to solve problems. Students will brainstorm multiple ideas. Next, students will choose their best idea and construct it. Students will put their design to the test and dialogue with peers to help solve the challenge. Finally, students will reflect on how they solved the challenge. Students will receive a certificate for completing the class. The only materials needed each class day is multiple sheets of paper, tape, scissors, ruler, and pencil. Class Topics: Moon Landing Egg Drop UnBreakable Bridge Tallest Tower Roller Coaster Class Recommended for: B1, B2, C1, C2

All activities in Ms. Sarah’s classes are to be done under the supervision of an adult, who is responsible for the safety of the student. Ms. Sarah is not responsible for any injuries or accidents resulted in class.
