Class Experience

Each class students will be challenged to use mathematic skills and engineering skills to accomplish a paper engineering challenge. Class will begin with a student connection question and the challenge presented. Next, the teacher will review the Engineering Design process used by engineers to solve problems. Students will brainstorm multiple ideas. Next, students will choose their best idea and construct it. Students will put their design to the test and dialogue with peers to help solve the challenge. Finally, students will reflect on how they solved the challenge. Students will receive a certificate for completing the class.
