Class Experience

US Grade 7 - 12
In this self-paced class, learners will master the art of writing clear, respectful, and professional emails for school, jobs, internships, and more. Whether they’re contacting a teacher, reaching out to a coach, or applying for a summer job, strong email etiquette can make all the difference.

Over four lessons, learners will:
•Learn the structure of a professional email
•Understand tone, audience, and how to sound confident (without sounding rude)
•Practice writing real-world emails like requests, introductions, and thank-yous
•Avoid common mistakes that hurt first impressions
•Build independence and communication skills that last beyond school

Each lesson includes:
•A short video lesson
•Practice activities and quizzes
•A writing challenge or email prompt
•Downloadable email templates and a final checklist

This class is designed to be clear and low-stress, while building real-world communication skills. If your learner prefers video, visual examples, or checklists—they’ll feel right at home here.

Learning Goals

Learners will identify the key parts of a professional email and understand how to format them correctly.
Learners will write emails using appropriate tone, language, and structure for different audiences.
