Description
Class Experience
Goals will include: Segmenting and blending words Independent problem solving within the context of reading Recalling story details through "wh" questions Predicting upcoming events in singable stories
I am highly trained and have worked with a wide variety of special needs students including both cognitive, behavioral and emotional challenges. I both encourage and welcome special needs students to my classes!
Homework will be determined by student need and parent request.
Your students are welcome to bring household items that can be used as instruments such as: Boxes of pasta to shake Pots or Tupperware to use as a drum Wooden spoons to clap together Other instruments you may have
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Data will be kept regarding the student's accuracy when demonstrating the various goals to track and ensure progress.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
