Class Experience

Welcome to Financial Literacy!  In this class you will learn a great deal about money while having a blast!  This class is centered around learning the easy fundamentals of finances in an age appropriate, fun and engaging class.  Students will be taught all about earning, spending, recording finances, saving and budgeting.  Learners will go on an adventure to making their very own lemonade stand.  They will make them out of regular household items.  They will put them together.  They will figure how much it will cost to make the stand and the lemonade.  They will figure out how many cups of lemonade they would need to sell to make a profit, how much they need to charge per cup and how they will budget or spend the profits.  Join us in teaching littles how to control their finances!

Syllabus

6 Lessons
over 6 Weeks
Lesson 1:
Planning our Businesses
 We will get to know each other.  We will discuss our objectives and what we want to accomplish in this 6 weeks class.  We will make a plan of what we need to do first and what it will take to do it.

 We will learn all about earning and spending in this class.

 We will learn all about budgeting and saving in this class.

Lesson 4:
Expenses and Profits
 We will come up with a solid plan of how much lemonade we need, how much we will charge per cup, how many cups we need to sell to make a profit, and how we will spend or save our profits.
