This class is for one-off special meet-ups, games, classes & adventures, organised through the DnD with Toph Social Club. Classes may take any of the following formats... Games: Learners will get to play special one-off sessions of a board game or roleplaying game. In these sessions players will learn all the rules and play the game in it's entirely within the 2 hour slot. These are opportunities to test out a new game that you can then think about playing with your friends and family! Adventures: In these one-off adventures leaners will get to test out unqiue game features or even play the part of a Dungeon Master for the other learners. In the lead up, I will discuss and plan with the learner so they are prepared according to their adventure respectively. Then during the session they will run the game for their peers based on a monster/creature/story they have prepared. Other learners will get the chance to play along. For the other learners they will get to see the work from the group coming to life, as well a learning from different styles of being a Dungeon Master. Meet-ups: These sessions will include a variety of ice-breakers questions/games/getting to know you exercises. Each time a nominee mentor from the D&D with Toph group will be volunteer to play the role of group leader for the session. In the lead up I will discuss with the mentor what games and exercises they would like to play and create a specific lesson structure to suit their plan. Other learners will get the chance to discuss their passions and expand further on their interests from the group. Students will require access to a computer (or multiple tablet/phone/devices as it is not possible to manage both the zoom meeting and other websites on a single small screen). Alongside the Zoom meeting, we will be using the website D&D Beyond (https://www.dndbeyond.com/). This website has an age requirement for registration, so a parent or guardian should make an account for their child prior to the lesson to save time and prevent issues during the class.

Learn about Dungeons & Dragons and how to play a tabletop role-playing game.
Discover the various races and classes found in Dungeons & Dragons.
Use this knowledge to create a unique Level 1 character.
Improve skills in communication and cooperation.
