The course is part of our Discover Nature Series and aims to provide an in-depth, interactive exploration of Waterton Lakes National Park. What Will Be Taught? History of Waterton Lakes National Park Introduction to the Waterton townsite Exploration of popular trails and natural landmarks Basics of environmental conservation Wildlife observation and identification Class Structure The course is structured into various modules, each focusing on a different aspect of Waterton Lakes National Park. The flex format allows you to complete these modules at your own pace within the week. Teaching Style Our teaching style is interactive and engaging, combining various methods to make learning fun and effective: Video Clips: Virtual tours of the park, its trails, and wildlife. Slides: Informative presentations on the history and ecology of Waterton. Worksheets: Fun and educational worksheets to reinforce learning. Classroom Discussion: Space for sharing observations, questions, and experiences using the Outschool classroom feature.
