Embark on a captivating educational adventure with "Excel Detectives - The Puzzling Violet Eyl," a self-paced, five-module course designed to engage and educate teenagers through the thrilling world of mystery-solving using Microsoft Excel. Over the course, students will learn to navigate Excel’s powerful tools while applying their skills to solve challenging puzzles and riddles left by the notorious fictional thief, Violet Eyl. Class Experience: This course combines interactive learning with critical thinking and problem-solving exercises. Each module introduces new Excel functions and analytical techniques, guiding students through: Fundamental Excel operations like formulas, functions, and data formatting. Advanced techniques such as data filtering, sorting, and analyzing pivot tables. Each module has a video with step-by-step instructions, Excel files, and PowerPoint slides. Teaching methods include lecture notes, hands-on exercises, video tutorials, and quizzes that allow students to learn at their own pace. The course is designed to be interactive, with opportunities for students to engage in discussions, share insights, and collaborate on solving the complex mysteries posed by Violet Eyl. This dynamic approach enhances their understanding of Excel and hone their analytical thinking skills, making learning both fun and educational. Learners will have the flexibility to progress through each module at their own pace. Each module is designed to take approximately 1-2 hours to complete, although this may vary depending on the learner's familiarity with the material and their level of engagement.
