In this one time class, students will learn how to use a dictionary to enhance their vocabulary and write sentences using those words.
Class experience
In this class, the student will be taught how to use a dictionary successfully. The definition of a dictionary will be given which is a written or internet source which arranges words into alphabetical order, gives their definition(s), as well as their part of speech. Guide words which are at the top of the dictionary will be explained. Also discussed will be why a dictionary is helpful in enhancing vocabulary and comprehension.
