In "Decode the Secret Signals," children will learn how to read and understand body language cues to enhance their social awareness and communication skills. We will touch on the following topics during our hour together: 1. Introduction to body language 2. Facial expressions and their meanings 3. Gestures and their interpretations 4. Posture and body movement 5. Eye contact and its significance 6. Cultural differences in body language The class is structured through an interactive discussion, slides, and videos. Learners will also participate in a Kahoot. My teaching style is energetic, participatory, and inclusive. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves and sharing their ideas. Lessons are designed to be interactive, stimulating curiosity and fostering a love for learning. By engaging in collaborative learning experiences, children will not only learn from the instructor but also from each other, building social skills and confidence in interpreting body language cues through role playing, conversation and kahoots.

I am a board certified behavior analyst specializing in helping children learn to understand body language as well as teaching social skills.
I teach social skills and emotional regulation in person and online as a profession. This is to teach skills, not therapy.
I have a Masters Degree as well as a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Behavior Analysis.
I have over 16 years experience working with kids who are both nuerotypical and nuerodiverse and a certification in special education.
I am continuously taking classes to ensure I am keeping up to date with the information I know as my fields grow
