'Dear Diary' Magical Christmas writing club. Learn Christmas vocabulary and magical, spellbinding entries in diary form. Learners are welcome to discuss and share diary entries with fellow writers.

First diary entry - picture prompt of children at a magical Christmas Feast in a magical setting. Handouts of Christmas themed magical vocabulary. 

Second diary entry! Picture prompts Christmas themed vocabulary in a Magical Wizarding setting. Immerse yourself in the spirit of a Magical Christmas in the past tense,  to describe the picture provided. Discuss the magic of Christmas  with others - be inspired by picture prompts and chat to other learners about your entry. Share with other learners if you feel comfortable.

A small relaxed group where we learn about different diaries and begin diaries of our own.  Picture prompts will be provided for those who would like them.  We discuss our thoughts in this collaborative group, and if learners feel comfortable, they are welcome to share diary readings with the group.

Lesson 2:
Dear Diary - Christmas Magic!
 Second diary entry! Picture prompt of a Christmas scene clearly labelled Christmas vocab.  Write easy sentences in the past with the words, I, we, my, our to describe the picture provided. Work with the teacher if help is required and chat to other learners about your entry. Share with other learners if you feel comfortable.

Pre-Requisites
Learners should be able to follow along and write their story.
Supply List
A handout will be provided prior to the camp and I suggest learners bring their own pen, notebook, pad, whichever they feel most comfortable writing a diary entry.
