"Dance Into Grammar"
In this 30 minute class, learners will use movement and dance to explore parts of speech like verbs and prepositions. They will also learn the Elements of Dance.

In this 30-minute class, learners will dance and move their way to a bigger vocabulary. Learners will explore verbs and prepositions while adapting their original dances to different musical compositions. We will also discuss the elements of dance and how choreographers create dances. The class will begin with a warm-up to get everyone focused and ready to move. We will discuss choreographers and how they create dances. Next, we will learn the elements of dance: Body, Action, Time Space, and Energy. We will finish by creating original dances using verbs and prepositions.

Students will be able to describe what a choreographer does and list the elements of dance.

All you will need is comfy clothes, room to move around, and a chair.
