Let's get moving in this beginner/intermediate Jazz dance class!
Class experience
Beginner Level
We are going to "Dance Dance Dance" in this beginner/Intermediate Jazz Dance class. Class will begin with an energetic warm up and stretch. Movements include jumping jacks and floor stretches. Possibly working toward splits and straddles. Basic jazz technique will be mixed with fun current dance moves. Learners will dance to popular age-appropriate music, such as Kidz Bop and "clean" top hits. By the end of class your leaner will have a part of a fun routine to show off. In all my classes...
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Please be sure your learner has an open space for moving, free of obstacles. Sneakers or barefoot and comfortable/stretchy clothing is recommended. Please make sure long hair is pulled up. A water bottle is always great.
