How is your class structured? 10min warm up, 10-15 min lecture/explanation of song topic etc, 20-30min to create, 5 min wrap up and games

How will you teach? I will be teaching through a live zoom. I encourage all students to have their video camera and microphone on, but it is not required after attendance. This class is very student driven as they are the creators. (similar to STEM projects teacher instruction).

What's your teaching style? I use a very creative and engaging approach while teaching dance. I use visuals and verbal explanations. Such as a “Leap” in jazz is like jumping over a pond. I also name my left and right sides to avoid confusion. Your right side is named “Sally” and your left side is named “Johnny”.

How much will learners get to interact with you and each other (mention specifics like: lecture, games, slides, video clips, discussion)? Throughout class we will be interacting as a group: like talking about why they chose to add that specific step there. I always play fair and allow each student to have an opportunity to speak.

Any required experience or knowledge learners need? Must have some dance experience (3 years).
