Class experience
Beginner Level
We are going to Dance Dance Dance in this beginner Jazz class for teens. Each class will begin with an energetic warm up and stretch. Movements include jumping jacks and floor stretches, splits and straddles. Jazz technique such as pas de bouree, battement, and select turns we be taught. Dancers will then move directly to learning weekly choreography. The jazz technique will be mixed with fun current dance moves. Learners will dance to popular age appropriate music. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Please be sure your learner has an open space for moving, free of obstacles. Sneakers, barefoot or Jazz shoes, and comfortable/stretchy clothing is recommended. Please pull long hair up. A water bottle is always great.
