Cute Creatures Drawing Class
What's included
1 live meeting
1 in-class hoursClass Experience
In this 4 week course, I will show you a pre-recorded video of me drawing a red panda, a penguin, a quokka, and a llama. That way you will get the closest view of the drawing and the best narrative and description from me. You will get my full attention because I can pause and answer any questions. I will be available for you and I can rewind and reshow anything if it was missed. I have been teaching directed art to students for 3 years. I am excited for this online class because I can give the students better attention. It’s hard to see the progress of the students when your back is turned towards the students and you are facing the board. In this class, I will be facing them. They do not need to know anything prior. They just have to be interesting and willing to learn. I have taught 10 years in special education. I have learned that teaching a topic isn’t just about knowing it, it is about breaking it down and reintroducing it to students with fresh minds who have never seen or done it before. Although I will be excited, I will speak soft and patiently. I love feedback and questions. They will have full interaction with me. Also, the can talk about red pandas if they like.
Learning Goals
The goal is to show students how to break down an image using basic shapes. Then as they draw the image, to fine tune it and make it look somewhat like the original, to capture the essence of the picture.
