Creative Movement: Superhero!
In this 30 minute one time creative movement class, students will have the opportunity to explore movement based off of their favorite super powers. Using ballet-based technique and the student’s imagination, get ready to explore and soar!
Class experience
In this one time class, students will learn creative movement and dance skills using imagery from some of their favorite superheroes. While students are having fun and dancing along, they will be learn Ballet and Movement vocabulary, as well as using their own creative voice using structured free dance topics. By the end of class, students will have learned a short superhero dance that they can practice at home or show to others! For class, students will be moving for a majority of the time...
This class is taught in English.
No prerequisite or dance experience required
Please be aware that this is a movement class and will require an open space for students to move around in. Please be advised that injuries can occur if students are not supervised throughout their experience. Students are encouraged the have a water bottle and barefoot if on hardwood floors. Please no socks as this could be a slip hazard. Students will have stretching in class so no need to stretch beforehand. Just come ready to learn and move.
