Class Experience

In this class students will measure dry ingredients and use the stove to melt butter and marshmallows. They will learn how to add food coloring to color their treat and then how to spread the treat and add their decorative items. The Christmas trees can be decorated with sprinkles, mini M&M's or colored sugar. As students follow the teacher's lead, they will cut their pan of Rice Krispies into Christmas trees and then add the trunk.
Students are encouraged to create their Christmas Tree Rice Krispie treats as the teacher is demonstrating and observing their progress. Students will experience the pride of preparing a Christmas treat by themselves that can be served to family and friends.
