This engaging class combines online gaming with social interaction, designed to help 12-16 year olds refine their social skills, boost creativity, and enhance quick thinking abilities through play-based learning. Students will learn how to play online versions of popular games like Scattergories and Gartic Phone while developing crucial social and cognitive skills. The class focuses on fostering creativity, improving verbal fluency, and encouraging positive social interactions in a fun, supportive environment. Topics covered: -Rules and strategies for Scattergories and Gartic Phone -Effective communication in online social settings -Creative thinking and quick problem-solving -Active listening and turn-taking in group discussions Each session follows a dynamic structure: -Review of the day's agenda -Opening social circle question -Gartic Phone gameplay -Mid-session social circle question -Scattergories gameplay -Closing social circle question My hands-on approach ensures that learners are constantly engaged, interacting with both me and their peers. I provide real-time feedback, encouragement, and guidance during gameplay and discussions, creating a supportive and lively learning environment.
