1 live meeting
20 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one-time class student will pair their love of coloring with a discussion about insects! To lead the discussion I will ask students some questions while they color. I will also be showing a slide show of interesting bug facts we can discuss. I will continue to check in on their progress as they color, and encourage each student to share their pictures with the class when they are done coloring. Coloring is not only fun but it also has so many benefits for children! Students will work on these skills: Fine Motor Skills, Math Skills, Eye-hand coordination, and Creative Thinking Skills Students can bring their own picture from a coloring book, draw an insect of their choosing, or print one from the link that I will share in the classroom of free coloring pages before class.
Learning Goals
Students will practice fine motor and creative thinking skills when coloring. They will practice listening comprehension and speaking skills during our discussion.
