NOTE: College Math Prep covers basic High School Math Skills ranging from Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry, and includes some Statistics, Probability, and Trignometry. This class is not compatible with the GCSE AQA Certificate in Further Maths exam. SUMMARY: This class is designed to prepare learners for standardized math tests and review skills learned in high school. EXPERIENCE: Each lesson consists of a worksheet for each subtopic covered. In this worksheet, there is a brief review of the subtopic, a few examples, and plenty of practice problems. I will start each worksheet by reading and explaining the review and examples. Together as a class, learners and I will go through as many practice problems as we can in class. Learners are encouraged but not required to complete the remaining practice problems. Any practice problems remaining will be completed and released after each Topic Review.

REFUND POLICY: This class has a standard refund policy: "Refund within 24 hours of payment until your next meeting or lesson access begins."
SCHEDULE: This class takes the week of July 4th off as a mid-class break. As a result, the class is scheduled for 10 calendar weeks.
EMERGENCIES: Despite our best efforts, emergencies do happen and can result in changes to the class schedule. I always plan to have my classes as they are scheduled. In the event that I have an emergency (loss of power/internet), I ask that learners log into the Zoom meeting and remain in the meeting for 10 minutes so that Outschool can mark their attendance. There is a one-week gap between my classes for the purpose of adding make-up sessions during the same time. In the event that your learner cannot attend a class, please reach out so I can plan accordingly. Recordings of the meetings will be shared with the classroom. Learners are expected to watch the video lessons for the classes they miss.
Supply List
Learners will need to have with them the following materials: 1. Something to take notes on (online document, notebook, or paper) 2. A writing utensil (pen or pencil) 3. A calculator
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
