Exploring Multi-Step Math Word Problems (Part 1)

Hello! My name is Mohanyie, but you can call me Mrs. Mo. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from UCF and I am endorsed and certified in English Language Learners, Reading Education, and Gifted Education by the FLDOE. 

I taught in Florida public schools for the first 13+ years of my career. I started my virtual teaching adventure in 2019 as an ESL Teacher and I started with Outschool in May 2020. While teaching in public schools, I was able to build test scores without stressing students by making lessons fun and engaging. I was fortunate to teach all elementary grade levels, Kindergarten through fifth grade during my career; so I know where students should be and where they need to be for the next year. 

My passion is teaching students that they can build their skills while having fun. I love to make lessons interactive and meaningful to the student. My favorite part in teaching is building lasting relationships with students and families, some that I still keep in touch with 13+ years later. 

On a personal level, I got married in 2018 and we welcomed our son in July 2021. We love spending time cooking, watching movies, and building memories with our large extended family.
