Class Experience
Topics covered during each session will be based on the learner's needs. Assistance includes homework support, test prep, and clarification of challenging concepts. The instructor uses a variety of teaching methods to improve understanding such as: use of a virtual whiteboard to work on problem solving and provide instruction, short, subject-related YouTube videos for visual learning, and games to improve learning. Concepts covered in this include: Unit 1: Atomic Structure and Properties Unit 2: Compound Structure and Properties Unit 3: Properties of Substances and Elements Unit 4: Chemical Reactions Unit 5: Kinetics Unit 6: Thermochemistry Unit 7: Equilibrium Unit 8: Acids and Bases Unit 9: Thermodynamics and Electrochemistry
