Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 6
Depending on where the child is in his/her current journey, this class might need to start from discussing what are composite numbers and prime numbers. Next comes Prime Factorization and Tree Method.
If the child already has good understanding about above, then we may dive into understanding what is HCF and its practical real life application. How Prime Factorization comes handy while finding HCF.
What is real life use of LCM and how Prime Factorization comes handy while finding LCM.
What are the good cross check mechanisms while trying to see if our calculated HCF and LCM are correct. We will also spend some time working on problem solving of the same.

Hi there,

A Telecommunication Engineer turned into a Maths teacher here, following my passion and heart!! Being mom of 2 school going children, I always feel that learning Math should be a thought provoking group discussion. Child should be engaged in a way that Math starts making sense to him/her.

I had been a Master Tutor for Math at University of Texas at Arlington from 2004 to 2005, while I was pursuing my Masters of Science - Electrical Engineering with focus in Wireless Engineering. At UTA, I was awarded title of Master Tutor after having taught for 500 + hours and completing Level 1 to Level 3 Tutor's training.

I enjoy teaching:

Higher Grade Subjects like:
Business Math, Calculus, College Algebra, Geometry, Elementary Statistics, Differential Equations

Lower Grade Subjects like:
Algebra, Geometry, Number Systems etc
