This will include, simple checkmates-in-one, queen & king mates, two rooks mates, and many others. This course is designed to be interactive, with engaging chess positions, exercises, and games. Learners will not need an online chess account to participate in the activities. All exercises/activites will take place on lichess.org There are many lessons to be taken from chess, such as logic and reasoning, preparation, concentration, patience, creativity, planning ahead, sportsmanship, pattern recognition, and many more. Teacher expertise and credentials
I am passionate about teaching chess, a timeless and intellectually empowering game. My enthusiasm for teaching chess extends to all ages of learners. Recently, I got my local library to hold a monthly chess night where players and learners can come together and experience the incredible game. While at these gatherings I have had the opportunity to mentor and teach other chess enthusiasts. This has ranged from new players to more advanced learners, of all age ranges.
