In this course, learners will continue to build their cheerleading skills learned in the previous class. During this class, the main focus will be on techniques used in cheerleading to keep arm motions looking sharp and clean. At the beginning of each class, I will lead a series of stretches to prepare learners for the class. Over the term of the course, learners will review jumps such as tucks, pikes, hurdlers and toe touches. They will review the proper techniques for arm angles and jumps. Additionally, learners will be taught new cheers to enhance their skill set. At the end of the course, learners will be taught a fun dance sequence to demonstrate their knowledge learned throughout the course!

Teacher expertise and credentials
I was a cheerleader for three years in high school. When I went to college, they did not have a cheerleading team. I started a team and served as president for three years. Additionally, the college team held camps for youth at a nearby elementary school where we taught children the basics of cheerleading.
