In this lively class, filled with music, activities, and games, children will dive into the basics of cash, credit, and debit in a fun and interactive setting. They'll develop critical thinking skills for future money decisions while exploring real-life examples of money's risks and rewards.

We recommend you  practice this class with your kid and repeat this class for your kid time by time to reinforce what they learn and lock the information into their long-term memory.

- Many of our illustrations come from illustrators who have worked at Disney, Cartoon Network, and Discovery Kids.
- Our animations are directed & produced by an award-winning short film producer.
- Walter was created by an award-winning Tax Attorney / CPA.  She couldn't believe how the most wealthy people had, sometimes, the least understanding of money.  Her goal was to teach kids about money to save them a lot of headache in the future.
- Walter the Vault's Director of Content and Innovation has been teaching on Outschool since 2020.  She adores both companies and sees such value in what each provides.  She's so happy to build this Water the Vault platform on Outschool.

Learning Goals

By the end of this class, students will achieve the following learning goals:

-Gain a comprehensive understanding of cash, debit cards, and credit cards, including their uses and differences.
-Understand the concept of overdraft fees and the risks associated with overspending.
-Learn the importance of paying off debts and paying bills on time to maintain financial health.
-Develop knowledge about savings accounts, borrowing money, and managing a bank account effectively.
-Identify common fees associated with financial transactions and understand their implications.
-Equip themselves with strategies to recognize and protect against scams, including practicing password safety measures.
