Class Experience

In this summer camp, learners will learn 4 new body weight exercises a day.

     -Day 1: Squats, Long Arm Crunches, Pushups, Up Downs 
     -Day 2: Glute Bridges, Vertical Leg Crunches, Bicep Curls, Tuck Jumps																					
     -Day 3: Calf Raises, Penguins, High-Low Plank Walks, Bottom Kickers																					
     -Day 4: Chair Lunges, Reverse Crunches, Plank Jacks, Single Leg Dead Lifts																					
     -Day 5: Frog Jumps, Standing Oblique Crunches, Shoulder Tap Planks, High Knees	

Each workout will be demonstrated and explicitly taught with safety and form in mind. 
The Yoga Kid Collective is a group of committed, passionate, certified and insured yoga teachers as registered by the Yoga Alliance. We have several years of guiding children's yoga and workout classes. We have extensive experience with these types of workouts and how to perform them safely with children. 
Free and open workout space, slip-proof surface (yoga mat) and bottle of water.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
6 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please be aware this is a fast-paced guided workout. Encourage your child to do the workout safely. If you know that your child can get overstimulated by fast-paced classes, please stay nearby and monitor your child during the class and encourage them to slow down as necessary. 

As with all physical activity, there is the risk of injury or varying types and degrees, which risk cannot be entirely eliminated. If your child experiences any pain or discomfort, I recommend to discontinue the activity, and ask for support from their parent. As I am not physically there with them, there is little I can do to help with slips or bumps. Be advised of any potential hazards (including, but not limited to needing an open workout space, slip proof socks or bare feet, a mat, and proper clothing).
