I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dowling College in Oakdale, New York and attained a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. I have been teaching various grades in a Public School System since 2004. I have won awards for my implementation of CANVAS technology in the classroom and was vital in the transition to a virtual school environment during the 2020 COVID-19 outbreak. In addition, I have been a nominee for Teacher of the Year and a Candidate for entry into the LEAD Program on the path to become an Assistant Principal. Aside from my work in the public-school system, I also teach Homeschooled children via virtual setting. I feel that the best part of being a teacher is getting to see the children connect all the dots as they learn and grow.
