There will be interactive class activities for informal assessments. In-class pair activities are designed to develop each student's 21st century skills such as collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. If you are a home school student who is looking for a formal assignment grades, I will be happy to work with you (but I need to know what is expected). ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Any required experience or knowledge learners need? ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: If the student has learned Japanese for a year, or even self-studied Japanese for a year, should be comfortable in this level.
Learning Goals
Students will strengthen their ability to create with language, converse on familiar topics that are commonly introduced in beginner levels, and build vocabulary and grammar toward intermediate level.

If you use an iPad, please learn how to use split screen function, as students will work in writing or answering questions on interactive exercises while I hold the class with zoom.

Many years of freelance tutoring experience for Japanese and Mandarin have helped me teaching all levels of Japanese including Pre-AP and AP classes at my former employment at a public high school.
