PLEASE READ under the schedule to find out if the section of your choice is a new class or not. ///On note-taking and having note-taking supplies of your choice/// Note-taking is optional, but if your learner wish to retain what he/she is learning, or fully participate in games which are based on class materials, I highly advise the learners to take some notes. I'm putting this here in writing because I've had some parents who were unhappy with their learners having to take notes, or remember what I taught in class to fully enjoy the class activities. So yes, having note-taking supplies with you before class starts is highly recommended. ***46 hiragana are introduced in the first 7 lessons along with different topics that we cover each lesson, but the class will not cover hiragana again once it is past learning the letters. ***No topics will be repeated, therefore you can jump in any time to learn new topics each lesson. ***Each section started at different time of the year per the request of learners starting school at different months. ***Each section of the class will require at least 3 students to open. When there aren't enough students to start a class, the starting date will be postponed to the following week or cancelled. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// 1st Semester SCHEDULE ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// ★━━━━━━━★━━━━━━━★ These sections are new, and they will start from Wk1 of 1st semester materials. ***These sections will be cancelled or postponed to the following week if the minimum enrollment of 3 is not met by the posted time and dates in parentheses. There will be interactive class activities for informal assessments. Pair activities/assignments are designed to develop each student's 21st century skills such as collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Any required experience or knowledge learners need? ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: This is a beginner's class, but students will learn hiragana outside of class on their own with recommended materials.
Learning Goals
Students will strengthen their ability to create with language, converse on familiar topics that are commonly introduced in beginner levels, and build vocabulary and grammar toward intermediate-low level.
