Bonjour! 🥐

Are you looking for fun, interactive beginner French classes online? If so, then you've found the right course! This is Part 2 of a two part Beginner French Summer Camp series. While recommended, it is not required to take Part 1 prior to this course.

Throughout this 4-day French summer camp, students will be introduced to vocabulary and basic conversation structures related to the theme of the day. While the themes will change each class, all new content will build upon what has been previously learned, which will maximize student learning and confidence. Students will engage in immersive French activities, including games, crafts, and fun conversations! The small group setting of this course will give students plenty of opportunities to practice their listening, speaking, and comprehension skills while socializing with new friends.

-------------------------------------------
📝 Lesson 1: All About Me + Craft
Students will learn basic sentence and question structures necessary to describe themselves in French. The topics in the lesson will include: hometowns, nationality, birthdays, age, friends, and favorite things. They will also create an emoji craft that will help them introduce themselves to their classmates.

📝 Lesson 2: Describing People + Craft
Students will learn vocabulary related to physical descriptions and personality traits in French. They will also practice holding conversations that include asking and answering questions centered around descriptions of themselves and others. Then, they will create their own 3-D picture frame that includes a description of themselves.

📝 Lesson 3: Supermarket + Craft
Students will review the numbers 1-50 in French and learn how to talk about the prices. They will also learn French vocabulary words for typical grocery items purchased in a French supermarket. Then, they will put all of their new knowledge to work and create a mini supermarket craft.

📝 Lesson 4: Family + Bingo
Students will learn the names of their immediate and extended family members and how to introduce, describe, and answer questions about them in French. They will also practice correctly using personal and possessive pronouns. Then, students will get ready to play an exciting game of family style bingo!
