Student will learn what to expect from different age groups.... newborns: how to change a diaper, bottle feeding, sleep, pre- schoolers: meals, snacks, games, books and TV programs school age: homework, bedtime, phone and TV use, friends visiting learn how important it is to have excellent comm ..we will also create a list for baby sitt ers can refer toI have a very relaxed class. I encourage all students to share any previous babysitting experiences and any ideas they may have The students can interact as desired there is no previous experience or knowledge needed. I have been a Registered Nurse for many years and have taught classes about babysitting There - will be no infant resuscitation or CPR taught. These classes are encouraged and are offered in in-person in your community
Learning Goals
Students will feel more confident and competent in their role as a babysitter. Expectations will be clear and the student will be able to prepare for the babysitting job whether is when a parent goes to work or to the theatre
