In this one time class, learners will discuss what they know about outer space. Then we will learn many signs, including moon, sun, planets, astronaut, etc. Next we will have a brief lesson on colors and numbers in American Sign Language. We will use those skills learned to create our own class alien. We will decide what it should look like and use our numbers and colors to add to our design. Learners will need crayons and a printable which will be provided and their imaginations to help us create. No signing experience needed just an interest in ASL and space.
