In this sixteen week self paced course, students can learn the basics of American Sign Language. Learning practical and fun signs kids can enjoy videos three times a week to keep growing in the language.

Introductions
Getting started with introductions in American Sign Language and the alphabet for our first video. Can you sign your name in ASL?
Lesson 2
Friends and Family
Let’s practice the signs for members of the family and how to use them in our signing.
Lesson 3
Emotions
Let’s sign how we feel and how to make our facial expressions match.
 Week 2
Lesson 4
Transportation
Let’s learn the signs for many common forms of transportation and how we can use them to tell stories.
Lesson 5
Learning Our Colors
Learning our colors along with a song to help our speed and recall.
Lesson 6
Park Visit
Let’s take an imaginary trip to the park and sign everything we see.
 Week 3
Lesson 7
Numbers and Counting
Starting our week with learning our numbers in ASL can we count higher than a million!? Let’s learn to use our numbers with time, money, and telling peoples ages.
Lesson 8
Food and Cooking
Let’s sign all about food. Included breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. Let’s try signing a recipe together too!

Seasons and Weather
Let’s sign all four seasons and the weather for each.

Lesson 10
All About Animals
A class favorite is all the animal signs! Let’s talk about all different kinds of animals from farm to jungle.
Lesson 11
Opposites
Time to learn many different groups of opposites and see how similar some of the signs can be.

Polite and School Signs
It’s always important to know how to sign polite words. Followed by learning the signs for many school subjects. Which is your favorite?

Just like with colors, let’s use some songs to help us remember these signs. As well as helping us sign more quickly.

We can’t learn a new language without learning about those who use it. Let’s talk about deaf culture and how things are different in day to day life if you are deaf. And how does sign language work if you are deaf and blind?
