Learner progress will be assessed daily during each lesson as the teacher sees and hears that the student has become independent in reciting the information learned during the calendar routine. Students will be able to ask and answer questions in both languages. Students will have individual turns to demonstrate progress and understanding. Parents can also assess their own child's progress as they become more independent during their participation in class as well as how they are using learned information outside of class.Class Experience

The course will cover topics such as days of the week, months of the year, reading and writing dates, sentence formatting, numbers, colors, shapes, counting, letter names and sounds, and rhyming. Mrs. Haywood - I have completed 15 post secondary credits in the Arabic language at North Central University and The University of Minnesota. I have been teaching basic Arabic reading and writing skills for 10 years . I taught Arabic to children in grades Pre-K through grade 2 at a charter school for four years as well as a private school that I founded for seven years. I regularly meet with Arabic tutors to increase my skills and knowledge in this subject as well as to gain experience with various spoken dialects. I currently speak and teach Modern Standard Arabic.
