In Arabic Language Basics Through Games and Songs, students will learn foundational Arabic vocabulary, the days of the week, colors, and common phrases through interactive games, songs, and storytelling. Each session focuses on a new theme—such as greetings, family, or numbers—ensuring a well-rounded introduction to the language. The class is structured around short, interactive segments: first introducing vocabulary, then reinforcing it with games and song, followed by a hands-on activity or discussion. I use Google Slides for visual aids, play educational Arabic songs, and lead engaging activities like vocabulary bingo and sequencing games. My teaching style is interactive and playful, prioritizing active student participation. Students will have ample opportunities to interact with me and their classmates as we practice pronunciation together, play vocabulary games, and participate in group discussions. The class is designed to make learning Arabic enjoyable and memorable for beginners!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Carleton University
I teach a variety of classes focused on STEM subjects, including Chemistry, as well as Arabic language lessons. As an native Arabic speaker, I enjoy helping students learn the language in a fun and approachable way, making the process enjoyable for all ages.
With a professional background in Chemistry and extensive experience as a teacher, I have taught at schools and educational centers, such as Woodbridge Islamic School, where I focused on delivering high-quality education. I have also volunteered at community centers, working with younger students to nurture their love for learning through science and language.
My teaching philosophy centers around the belief that learning should be fun, interactive, and student-led. I encourage students to explore and ask questions, guiding them to solve problems and build their confidence through practice and participation. I believe that when students take ownership of their learning, they retain knowledge more effectively and enjoy the process.
On a personal note, I'm a homeschooling mother of three, so I understand the importance of creating lessons that are not only educational but also engaging and enjoyable. In my spare time, I love conducting science experiments and exploring creative ways to make learning exciting for my own children!
