"Once upon a time..." Oh, you're here! The story just started. Do you want to join the Arabic story? It's going to be so much fun and you'll learn lots of things as well. Do you know how to read Arabic? That's going to be so helpful if you help us reading, but no worries if you don't know how to read yet--I will help you, so let's study together. This class is taught by Teacher Malak. Malak is a native Arabic speaker who lives in the US. She has experience teaching the Arabic language to both Arabic native students and non-native students! We're going to work with the slides BE Education provides. We're going to read a story together and study the Arabic characters and the Arabic language through it every week. Here are some stories we're going to work on! 🌟 "The Mischievous Giant and The King of The Pyramids (Al-imlaq Al-shaqi Wa Malik Al-Aqzaam)" 🌟 "Eid Presents (Hidayat Al-eid)" 🌟 "It's One Flower (Inaha Zahra Wahidah)" 🌟 "The Fox's Treasure (Kanz Al-Ta-alib)" We're going to study for 25 minutes every week with a new story, which is completely independent. Just jump in, and you don't need to worry if you missed anything in previous classes. We're going to practice reading, pronunciation and listening while we're reading the stories together. We're going to focus on studying some characters and words. This class doesn't require any background knowledge to take, but it's going to be amazing if you have studied the Arabic characters. Feel free to join and let's have a fun time! The teacher will provide worksheets which students can practice writing with and pronunciation files recorded by the native Arabic teacher.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the Arabic characters, the Arabic language, and Arabic culture, while we're studying a fun Arabic folk tale!

Hi, I’m Malak! I believe that learning is not just about absorbing information but about understanding how to connect it to the world around us. I integrate that methodology in my teaching style, working to personalize learning for each student and make it relevant to their daily lives. Moreover, I’m passionate about empowering students to reach their full potential by breaking down complex ideas into clear, relatable concepts.
Having learned within a hybrid system (American and International), and graduated with an IB Diploma, I have a well-rounded insight into what graders are looking for. I hope to share this global understanding with students and help them be successful whether in AP, IB, or standard courses.
In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling, and going out with friends and family. I’m fluent in both Arabic and English, and I hold a BA in Sociology with a concentration in Health and Society, an Associate’s degree in Science, and an IB diploma. I currently work in the health field and am starting a Doctorate in Physical Therapy program.
