Animal Themed Story Time
In this ongoing class for animal lovers, students will enjoy a story time where animals are the main characters.
Class experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Beginner Level
We will read two stories during each class, and then have an open discussion to compare and contrast the characters, plot, theme, and setting. The story will be read to students, and we will stop and discuss throughout the reading. Students will be encouraged to ask and answer questions about the texts as well as the animal being studied. Through story time, students will be able to make predictions about texts, analyze character traits, determine main idea and theme, and make connections between texts. Students will also be able to work on social skills through open discussions about the texts being read.
