Students will learn to recognize, draw and enunciate the letters of the alphabet. Students will also learn fun facts about unique animals that start with each letter. Lastly, they will also apply early STEM skills during the weekly hands-on activity.
Optional videos and extension activities will be provided.
STEAM activities will require simple household and craft supplies. Check the classroom each week for suggested supplies. Examples include the following: scissors, glue stick, crayons, construction paper, pipe cleaners, paper towels, baking soda, salt, flour
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental assistance may be required during STEAM activities. Weekly crafts also require some cutting with scissors, so supervision and guidance are needed.
