Class experience

US Grade 2 - 5
Students will understand how animals can thrive in even the harshest environments due to specialized adaptations necessary for survival.  Students will learn many things such as habitat, behavior, diet, and fascinating facts about 2 amazing species each week. There will be some live appearances from my own collection of reptiles every now and then, when relevant to the class material.
I am an Animal Science teacher with 15 years of teaching experience, with a Masters of Education.  Credentials are uploaded and can be requested through Outschool.

Informal assessment will occur through classroom discussions, questions and answers, true or false slides, and trivia at the end of each presentation.
Grades Offered
If they want, they can print out their vocab sheet for reference.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Topics which may come up are evolution, reproduction, and natural selection.  Approved third party tools such as Youtube and Kahoot! will be used weekly.  No account required.
