Each week, students will explore a new aspect of ASL communication: from asking for help and engaging in basic conversations to signing about favorite activities, school experiences, and relationships. Hands-on practice, visual aids, and cultural insights will guide learners toward confidence in signing about everyday topics. **Key Objectives**: - Sports & Hobbies - Getting Started - Getting to Know You - Family, Friends, and Favorites. - School Days - Improve conversational skills by signing about school life. - Identify and use classifiers (^, 1, 3) while discussing time-related topics. I have been teaching American Sign Language for over 15 years. I worked in the Deaf community for ten years. I teach a music and movement program in my local area and teach American Sign language at different Preschools and private kindergartens in my local area. My daughter and I use signs to communicate as she is hard of hearing and an Outschool teacher. I aim to make learning fun so that learners want to keep learning.
No sensitive information that is a high-risk topic is taught in this class!
