Students will learn and explore the following math concepts in age appropriate ways: - addition - subtraction - multiplication - division - counting - money - sorting - place value - fractions - and more This class is structured with a hands-on approach, with live examples and interactive play. The teaching style is hands-on with direct interaction between students and teacher. Learners are not required to have any prior knowledge to participate in or enjoy this class. All basic concepts necessary for each lesson will be taught or reviewed during the lesson as needed. It is the teachers expectation that students in this class will have the ability to follow simple directions, take turns when directed, listen when asked and be respectful to their teacher and classmates at all times. Week of Jan. 16 - addition and subtraction Week of Jan. 23 - multiplication and division Week of Jan. 30 - fractions Week of Feb. 6 - counting and money *New topics will be introduced following these first four weeks
