This is an express class designed so that an entire year of Algebra 1 can be completed in one 18-week semester.

Class Experience

US Grade 7 - 10

Keep in mind that, because this class is designed to take an entire year of Algebra 1 in half of the time, it is for a more advanced student who likes math and picks up concepts quickly. 

In this class students will learn:

Week 1: One-Step Equations and Two-Step Equations
Week 2: Solving Equations with Variables on Both Sides and The Distributive Property
Week 3: Solving Absolute Value Equations and Combining Like Terms
Week 4:  Slope and Graphing Linear Equations and Changing from Standard...

I am a Florida certified teacher who taught middle school for 10 years and I have been teaching mathematics to homeschoolers from grades k-12, both in person and online for over 2 years.  I always wanted to be a teacher, and I am living the dream! Also, I cater to students who struggle with or do not care for math.

Because I am an author of math textbooks and resources, I will provide all practice pages/quizzes. The student(s) will only need a pencil and notebook paper.  Also, a printer will be helpful (to print out the practice pages and the quiz).

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Dropbox (optional)

No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
