Beginner Level
Philosophy has been the cornerstone of Western living. To understand how philosophy works will help a child in giving them skills to navigate life. This is an ongoing course which will explore philosophy through, games, videos, competition, and introduce hard to grasp concepts through fun interactive means. Discussing philosophy with children is a great way to improve their verbal skills. They learn to listen carefully to other students, to formulate their own opinions in a clear manner, and even to defend their opinions against objections from their peers. Exploring philosophy builds a real sense of community in the classroom and, at the same time, it aids in the individual intellectual development of your students. Session Structure: - Meet & Greet - Introduction to Philosophical concept - Current even examples - How it operates in our daily lives - Discuss & Debate - Review SAMPLE CONTENT: (Not ever concept will be led by a book. Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a creative, outgoing experienced teacher and professional tutor, and comedian. I have worked and lived in England, India, Iceland, and many other places in the world.
I am a big-believer In making education fun and also working to each students learning style (i.e. visual, audio, tactile and etc.). Education is about growth, progress, confidence, and creativity united together to making better humans.
-----------
I work with students, parents & teachers to provide learning goals, updates, and suggestions on how to help students not only succeed, but also build confidence in their knowledge and ability to learn.
------------
COVID19: Due to the reality that many schools are either closing or going fully remote - we are offering all major school subjects from K -10th Grade. From Spanish to English, From Grammar to History, From Math to Science. We also offer private classes on Outschool with a minimum of 5 students.
Why 5? It has been showing that this number of students is enough to build confidence, a community in the virtual space, and opportunity to grow in a virtual classroom space.
I am also a rock-climber, world traveler, speaker and published author. I would love the opportunity to work with you all.
