Intermediate - Advanced Level
In this class students will learn advanced 1st grade math skills including multi-digit addition and subtraction, comparing and ordering numbers, place value, time, fractions, graphing, and word problems. Do you have a student who is mastering 1st grade math skills with ease? This class is designed for learners seeking an additional challenge, where they can delve deeper into mathematical concepts and explore advanced material beyond the standard 1st grade curriculum. Plus, we ensure that learning remains engaging and enjoyable through interactive activities, games, and hands-on learning. See the Syllabus for a full course breakdown. Learners in this class need to already know how to count, add, and subtract at the basic level. Students can join this class at any time and we will continue to rotate through the lessons, so even if they have missed a lesson they can join at any time and we will cycle back around to it.
Learning Goals
Students will enhance their mathematical understanding by exploring advanced first-grade concepts.
